As much as you’d like to stow your new MacBook Air in a manila envelope like in the promotional video, that mailer probably doesn’t afford much protection for your ultra-slim notebook. It’s probably a better idea to look into some of these fashionable sleeves from Belkin that have been designed specifically for the MacBook Air.
There are four sleeves in all and they have all been designed with trendy high fashion in mind. That’s why all the promotional shots features soft blues, subdued greys, and black-is-the-new-black black. They’re not available right now, but they’ll be ready to ship somewhere between March and May of this year, which will probably coincide with the arrival of your new MacBook Air anyways.
The one with the loop pictured here is the $39.99 Slim-Fit Sleeve for MacBook, whereas the other blue one is the Leather/Neoprene Sleeve, which sells for $49.99. Not pictured are the Neoprene Sleeve (that’s not a typo) and the Vertical Sleeve with Strap, both of which go for $49.99 each.
