We already knew that Steve Jobs and the rest of the Apple army have a fairly large ego, so it’s only fitting that the Iomega eGo portable hard drive go on display at the MacWorld Conference and Expo this week in San Francisco.

Available in Cherry Red, Jet Black, and Alpine White, the Iomega eGo is a fashionable external drive that’s supposed to introduce “fashion to a world previously known for little gray and black boxes,” said Iomega President Tom Kampfer. They plan on shipping the 2.5-inch hard drive in a two main capacities at first: 160GB and 250GB.

In terms of interface, you can choose between the models that boast only USB 2.0, or you can up the ante for about twenty bucks to get dual connectivity options: USB 2.0 and FireWire 400. If you opt for the USB-only 250GB model, it also comes in Midnight Blue. Pricing ranges from $140 to $230.
