Official Asus Eee PC Accessories Make It Easier Than Ever

Asus has been telling us that their Asus Eee PC is supposed to be easy to work, easy to learn, and easy to play, but without a full complement of accessories, it can’t be that easy to use right? Although you probably still have a hard time finding a unit in stores, the Asus Eee PC can now be outfitted with a variety of official accessories, helping to expand its functionality and user friendliness.

The first accessory is a typical optical mouse with 1000dpi resolution. It’ll ship in at least five different colors — pink, blue, green, white, and black — and the mouse should be completely plug-and-play with an available USB port. Next up, we have a set of white earbud headphones with what appears to be an inline mic and/or volume control. It’ll handle everything from 20 to 20K Hz.

The other two accessories announced today are a standard AC power adapter and a pair of extra batteries, the first of which is a 4-cell with 5200mAh and the second is a 6-cell with 7800mAh. No word on pricing.
