It’s obvious enough that this notebook-styled UMPC is competing directly against the less expensive Asus Eee PC, but the VIA Nanbook comes equipped with a little more goodness. It gets powered by a 1.2GHz VIA processor, Windows XP Pro, 1GB of DDR2 RAM, and a 80GB 1.8-inch PATA HDD. It also has a VoIP handset.
The total package comes out to about 420 GBP, which works out to about $850 in American greenbacks.
