The T-Mobile Shadow is quite the clever device, because it may look a regular slider phone, but hidden beneath that large color display is a slide-out SureType keyboard for ease of text entry. That’s because this ain’t no ordinary phone, it’s a Windows Mobile 6 Standard smartphone.

PhoneArena presents us with their video review of the HTC Shadow from T-Mobile and their overall impressions seem quite positive. When you check out the ratings, the editor scored it an 8/10, whereas users on the site — who are mostly high-tech junkies — have scored it an astounding 9.8/10.

As you recall, key features on this device include a 1.6-inch TFT display, 2.0 megapixel camera, TI OMAP 850 processor, WiFi, microSD expansion, and Bluetooth 2.0. The T-Mobile Shadow provides an excellent alternative to other WinMO smartphones on the market, largely because of its “elegant looks, a great battery life, and the functionality you would expect from it.”
