If you’ve been hesitant to do the Vista upgrade or maybe you’ve already upgraded to a more familiar experience. Whatever the case, it can be hard to find a new PC these days that comes pre-loaded with Windows XP. That said, they’re still out there.

Take the recently announced Toshiba Dynabook Satellite T31 notebook computer. The default configuration calls for Windows Vista Business, but you can choose to get Windows XP instead if you want. That’s almost a huge selling point in and of itself! Other features on this 15.4-inch laptop include a paltry 512MB RAM, 80GB HDD, CD-RW/DVD-ROM combo drive, multi-memory card reader, and IEEE 1394.

The Dynabook T31 is definitely an entry-level notebook. Two models are available — one with Intel Core 2 Duo T7250 and the other with a Celeron 540 — and neither offers a battery life of over 1.3 hours. Sad, I know. Prices start at $1,571.
