Last month Trascend first unveiled their 16GB high-capacity SDHC memory card. Today we have received reports from the manufacturer that the street price will be set at 139€ (about $200 USD). Thats about $100 less than the 16GB Transcend USB Flash devices out on the market right now.

“Transcend’s 16GB SDHC card is based on the new generation of SD cards (SD 2.0) that support the FAT32 file system format. Fully Class 6 compliant, the card features fast data transfer speeds (guaranteed minimum write speed of 6MB/s) and satisfies the high-capacity demands of today’s new SDHC devices such as high-end digital cameras or digital camcorders. The massive 16GB memory capacity is enough to store over 8,000 high-resolution 7-megapixel JPG photos. With 16 gigabytes at your disposal, you can store your entire music or picture collection, thousands of video clips, or even complete full-length high quality movies.”
