
See, it has the word “art” in its name, but that extra “e” at the end signifies a little something extra. Decidedly high-end, both the Nokia 8800 Arte and Sapphire Arte take on the slider form factor of the garden variety 8800, but they’ve been gussied up just a touch with the introduction of 3G connectivity.
As before, you get a seamless metal and glass body, classic styling, and an anti-fingerprint coating. Key features include the 2.0-inch QVGA OLED display with 16M colors, 3.2 megapixel autofocus camera with 8x digital zoom, 1GB internal memory, and a microUSB connector.
What makes the Nokia 8800 Sapphire Arte even more exclusive is the inclusion of a sapphire gemstone, as well as soft leather covering selected areas on the phone.
