As if you didn’t already have enough to play with on your Apple iPhone, along comes the new Mundu IM – iPhone Edition to feed your need for never-ending instant messages. If you’ve got yourself a locked iPhone that isn’t exactly open to third-party applications, you need not worry with Mundu, because it operates through the iPhone’s Safari web browser. No actual downloads or installations needed.

Mundu IM has been available in beta for some time now, but they hope to have ironed out most of the major kinks. The Safari-fueled application is now in full swing and it’ll work with all of your favorite instant messenger platforms, including Yahoo, MSN, Google Talk, and AIM. You don’t need to restrict yourself to a single service either, because Mundu allows for multiple simultaneous logins. Smileys are here in full tow as well.
