You know how BMW has that iDrive system with the single controller knob in the center console? Raytel has apparently taken that concept and adapted it to their Ego Drive GPS navigation device. Housed inside the Ego Drive are a series of ego-fueled functions like Ego Talk and Ego Cup. Based on the picture, you get a fat knob too.

Unveiled at SEMA 2007, the Ego GPS system directs you around town, of course, but it’s also got a Bluetooth handsfree speakerphone too. They say that it’s a “top-notch device” and the rotary remote control “can be easily placed anywhere in your car.”

You can also do much of the controlling through the 4.3-inch color touchscreen display. Rounding out the specs on the Raytel Ego Drive GPS system are 3D maps, a variety of audio/video format support, and text-to-speech functionality.
