Special Edition Nintendo DS Lites for Black Friday

I’m reasonably happy with my plain Jane white Nintendo DS Lite. Other people, on the other hand, want to be special with limited edition this and limited edition that. If you’re the type that enjoys being a little more original, you’ll be glad to hear that two special versions of the Nintendo DS Lite will be made available at Sears on Black Friday.

Enthusiasts may already be aware of the golden version that gets bundled with The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass (complete with gold stylus, mind you). For the more feminine and/or youth-oriented gamers in the audience, there is also a metallic pink Nintendogs: Best Friends Edition DS Lite bundle. Both retail for $149.99, including the pack-in game.

Personally, I think the best color scheme to get released thus far is the black-and-red combo that accompanied Brain Age 2.
