Verizon Palm 700p Owners Treated to Free Sudoku Game

I like free things as much as the next person, but if I was the owner of a Palm Treo 700p from Verizon Wireless, I’d be a little disappointed with this freebie. You see, many people have been anxiously and nervously waiting for the new maintenance update for the Verizon 700p.

In order to appease the masses, Verizon has teamed up with Astraware to give 700p owners a copy of the Sudoku game for free. In some ways, you can see that they are making an effort to keep everyone happy. If you upgrade your Treo to version 1.10 (found here), you can hit up the free offer page to get your copy of Sudoku.

The deadline on the free offer is April 30, 2008, leading us to believe that there many not be another Treo 700p update until that date. More waiting.
