Live Photo of the 16GB iPhone Launching Next Week

Is this for real? It seems that a random Apple Store employee got his hands on an Apple iPhone with 16GB of internal memory. Yes, a model with twice the storage of the regular 8GB iPhone.

Well, it’s not quite the full 16 gigs, of course, but with 14.4 gigabytes available, it’s pretty darn close. Another notable feature is that this “spied” iPhone is running another new firmware. It’s running on Firmware version 1.1.2, possibly bringing in a whole other level of SIM locking.

The unnamed Apple Store employee is saying that the 16GB iPhone is set to launch “next Tuesday.” Until then, we’ll just need to hold our collective breaths.
