For the landline side of things, you shove your regular telephone wire into the base and it’ll communicate with the wireless handset over a 5.8GHz Digital Spread Spectrum. All calls can be made either from the base or the handset, the latter of which has a full color display.
For the cellular side of things, you just need to pair your cellular phone with the VTech LS5145 and it’ll function basically as one giant Bluetooth headset. You can dial out, receive calls, and so on without actually touching your mobile phone. Even spiffier, the LS5145 can pair with up to eight Bluetooth devices. On the flip side, you can expand the system with up to 12 cordless handsets.
The VTech LS5145 dual phone system is available now for $149.95.
