Sony VAIO FZ-Series Demonstrates Graphical Prowess

Just because you want a laptop doesn’t mean that you need to sacrifice graphical processing power. The new VAIO FZ-series of notebooks from Sony are supposed to offer “premium mobility power and style.” More specifically, the higher-end Sony VGN-FZ260E comes with all sorts of eye candy.

Being a Sony, it only makes sense that this laptop comes equipped with a Blu-ray disc drive, sending high definition movies onto its 15.4-inch display. Other niceties include Intel Centrino Duo Mobile Technology, an NVIDIA GeForce 8M series video card with NVIDIA PureVideo HD technology, Intel Turbo Memory, wireless-N connectivity, and a series of dedicated media controls, all in a remarkably slim and stylish package.

Prices start at $1,899.99.
