Is it just me or does it seem like everyone wants to make cell phones these days, even if if it isn’t their primary area of expertise? We’ve seen creations that carry the branding of guys like Ferrari and Bang & Olufsen, so I guess coming across a trio of Spkyer mobile phones should be completely surprising.

Spyker, as you may already know, is an automobile manufacturer based out the Netherlands and they build their cars by hand. The three Spyker-branded handsets are all candybar style and boast a look that is very similar to the Vertu Racetracks line manufactured by Nokia.

Don’t look for much in terms of features from the C4S – C8 LaViolette, C4S – C8 Spyder, and C4S – C8 Laturbie. They all carry a basic digital camera, MP3 ringtones, and microSD expansion, but the first two are dual-band (900/1800) only, whereas the last is tri-band GSM (900/1800/1900). Pricing for the C8 LaViolette, C8 Spyder, and C8 Laturbie has been set at 399, 299, and 199 Euros, respectively.
