MP3 and WAV Attachments Get iPhone Love

If you’ve been anxious to accept audio attachments on your iPhone, your anxiety has paid off, because it is now perfectly possible for you to listen in on WAV and MP3 files sent to your iPhone.

As you can see from the image provided, it doesn’t take much to be able to playback those voicemail attachments. Just click and the voice message will play through your MP3 player, assuming that you’ve loaded either Winamp or Microsoft Media Player. And yes, general audio attachments work as well.

I wonder if there are any issues with the new firmware release, though, given the lack of love for third party apps… like Winamp and WMP.
