You know how secretive Steve Jobs can be, but when we hear about a press conference in London, you also know that something is up and it’s probably something big. Reuters is predicting that the Cupertino-based technology firm will be announcing the European version of the iPhone, including availability details like dates and prices.

As you may have heard, the European iPhone seems to be more powerful than its American counterpart, getting a storage boost to 16GB and a speed boost to UMTS/HSDPA. It’s also expected that the exclusive rights will be handed to O2 for the UK, T-Mobile for Germany, and Orange for France.

Of course, this is still just conjecture on the part of Reuters, so we won’t know for sure until next Tuesday.
