As is the norm with anything coming out of Cupertino, Apple was quick to produce a hot commercial for the new iPod nano. You’ll also notice that the ad features their typical plain white background, but there’s no silhouettes dancing around with flashy neon lights. Instead, what you get is a stack of the new portable music players, showing off the latest feature available to the nano family: video playback.

As you recall, the core features to the third-generation iPod nano include a beautiful QVGA display, an ultra minute click wheel, built-in games, and the aforementioned video playing capabilities. Prices start at $149 for the 4GB model. Add fifty bucks and you get 8GB.

What do you think of the new ad? Does it make you want to get the little beast? Is it Apple minimalism at its best?
