The 2008 Honda Accord has been garnering an awful lot of attention. I guess people really want to know about this mid-sized sedan (and coupe) and what it has to offer. We’ve seen what the North American version will look like, but what about the European model? Well, Honda announced yesterday that they will be officially unveiling the Honda Accord Tourer Concept at next month’s Frankfurt Auto Show in Germany.
The Accord Tourer Concept is supposed to point toward “the design direction” of the next-generation European Accord. The new Accord will be wider and lower, indicating that they want the car — which will sell both in sedan and wagon (or saloon and estate, if you prefer) — to be distinctly sporty in personality. This Accord will not be the same as North American one, as the Euro Accord is based on the same platform as the Acura TSX.
Look for the European Honda Accord to launch in mid-2008.
