Apple iPhone Gets Voice-Activated iPod Interface

Wow, this looks pretty cool. The crew at VoiceSignal have produced a speech recognition application for the Apple iPhone that will actually send you directly to your favorite song based on what you say. Like, actually say. Like use your mouth and talk.

In the video that you can watch over at Gizmodo, the VoiceSignal promo guy — complete with Apple-esque minimalist background — shows us the solution in action. Utter the song title or artist and the iPod (or rather vPod for voice, er, pod) interface will send you to an appropriate track.

Sweet.
