Logitech Pure-Fi Anywhere Music System for Apple iPod

I know, it’s just another speaker dock for the iPod right? Well, there are a couple of things that set the newly revealed Pure-Fi Anywhere Music System by Logitech apart from all the other speakers sets you’ve seen before. Logitech (not Logitec) has decided to include a rechargeable battery inside this dock, unlike other sets that rely either on dry cells or an AC adapter. Using this battery, you get about 10 hours of musical enjoyment. Thankfully, there’s a battery indicator on there as well.

The Universal Dock Connector will accept most models of iPod and will actually provide some charge to the portable device will blasting out the tunes through the 2-inch Max-X high excursion drivers with neodymium magnets, backed up by a pair of 3-inch pressure drivers to minimized distortion. A remote and travel case have been provided too.

We’re expecting the Logitech Pure-Fi Anywhere portable speaker system — measuring 3.6 x 13.2 x 1.5 inches — to launch next month with an asking price of $150.
