Adding an extra layer of security, the newly launched JetFlash 220 USB thumb drives from Transcend Information come equipped with biometric protection. A unique sensor strip is embedded right on the drive itself, allowing you to protect your vital data by way of your fingerprint.

In addition to helping you keep your banking information, resume, and whatever other stuff you decide to store in these drives, the biometric security function can also act as a “key” to websites, storing your username and password so that you automatically log in as needed.

Available in Taiwan now, the Transcend JetFlash 220 sells in 2GB, 4GB, and 8GB flavors, colored in Sunburst Orange, Royal Blue, and Ruby Red, respectively. No word on pricing.
