I’m a big fan of HTC-made Pocket PC phones, largely because they have some excellent build quality and the ubiquitous slide-out QWERTY keyboard is awfully purdy. The HTC Kaiser is a little different in that the keyboard not only slides out, but the display tilts up to provide a mini-laptop kind of feel.

We’ve known for some time that the HTC Kaiser would be heading to AT&T, but now we also know what they’re going to call it (AT&T Tilt), as well as when it’ll launch and how much it’ll cost. According to “insider sources”, the AT&T Tilt — formerly known as the AT&T 8925 — will hit shelves on September 3rd. When you sign up for a 2-year plan, you’ll be able to buy an AT&T Tilt for $499.

Less than one month away. Be the envy of all your 8125 and 8525-touting friends and tilt your way to the 8925!
