Asus G1S Gaming Laptop Gets the Santa Rosa Treatment

Boasting Intel Santa Rosa architecture, the Asus G1S notebook computer has apparently been designed with mobile gaming in mind. They haven’t gone crazy on the specs, so the hardest of the core may find the features to be a little disappointing. Casual gamers, however, will welcome the decent specs and the more affordable price point.

The chassis is comprised of matte-black and high-gloss carbon fiber plastic, accented by smidgets of lime green and brushed aluminum for a little personality. Despite its relatively small stature, the Asus G1S comes equipped with a large 15.4-inch display and 1.3 megapixel webcam.

You’ll also find a T7500 Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 2GB of DDR2 PC2-5300 RAM, NVidia 8600m GT (256MB) graphics, DirectX 10, Vista Home Premium, 160GB Hitachi Travelstar hard drive, and Realtek ALC660 HD audio.
