The world of portable navigation seems to be taking a page out of the cell phone market, because these little GPS wonders really do so much more than just show you the way to the closest gas station. The newly revealed Viliv X7 is a 7-inch GPS navigation device that boasts all sorts of multimedia functionality as well. As is the norm with Korean products, it’s also got a built-in DMB tuner.

The 800 x 480 display is quite large, providing plenty of space for those maps to be displayed. Preloaded with either 4GB or 8GB of internal memory, the Viliv X7 comes equipped with an SDHC expansion slot (for up to 8GB of additional storage), as well as an integrated music and video player (MP3, WMA, OGG, Xvid, DivX, WMV).

Apparently Korea-only for the time being, the Viliv X7 retails for 549,000 KRW ($595) or 629,000 KRW ($682), depending if you want the 4-gigger or the 8-gigger.
