It’s a battle for German sports car supremacy as the Audi RS4 gets pitted against the BMW M5 in a series of tests. Some may say that the test is a little unfair, given that the RS4 would probably be more competitive against the BMW M3, but pish-posh, these are both very capable German sedans with plenty of attitude.

Just because these cars have four doors and seemingly have a family-friendly stature doesn’t mean that they can’t hold their own against the coupes and the roadsters of the world. With high-powered engines, fantastic suspension systems, and plenty of rubber on the road, the Audi RS4 and the BMW M5 are both forces to be reckoned with.

In the video that you can view below, Inside Line puts these two Autobahn-carving four-wheelers to the test. They found that the Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) system on the Bimmer hurt some of its ratings, but would that be enough for the RS4 to take the lead? There’s only one way to find out… and I’d hate to spoil the surprise.
