Logitech Removes Wires from Wave Keyboard and LX8 Laser Mouse

You know, I love Logitech products. Their webcams are great and I’m currently using one of their wireless desktops in tandem with my laptop. The construction is always top-notch and you’ve got to love the little extra features they throw in that inevitably bring a smile to your face. You know, like a wireless connection.

The latest addition to the wireless family is the Logitech Cordless Desktop Wave Keyboard and LX8 laser mouse. The ergonomically-designed combo comes with special keys for Windows Vista. According to the reviewer at Mobilewhack, the keyboard design “is way better than any laptop or regular keyboard I have seen.” He was particularly pleased with the different key heights that “conform to the shape of your fingers.” In an effort to improve battery life, Logitech has removed any LED indicators from the Wave keyboard itself, instead placing the caps lock (etc.) lights on the USB receiver.

Regarding the Logitech LX8 cordless mouse, the reviewer liked “the sleek design and the comfortable grip”, and he found the “side-scrolling feature on the scroll wheel” to be very useful. Overall, they gave it a 4/5.
