Logitech VX Nano Cordless Laser Mouse With World’s Smallest USB Receiver

I’m using a Logitech MX Revolution cordless laser mouse as I type this and I love the wireless freedom it provides me and the MicroGear “nearly friction-less” scroll wheel is an absolute dream. Logitech is now ready to offer the same level of functionality found in the MX Revolution and the VX Revolution in a decidedly smaller package that they have dubbed the Logitech VX Nano Cordless Laser Mouse.

Catering specifically to the laptop market, this laptop mouse appears to be very similar to the VX Revolution for notebooks, complete with the high-precision laser tracker and the MicroGear scroll wheel, but what makes the VX Nano so special is that ridiculously small USB receiver. In fact, they’re saying that this is the smallest USB receiver for mice today. When inserted in an available USB port, it sticks out just 8mm from the edge of the computer.

The base of this mouse has a trap door where you plunk in a pair of AA batteries and the USB receiver when not in use. Look for the VX Nano Cordless Laser Mouse for Notebooks to launch in late August with an MSRP set at $69.99.
