At first glance, some people may think that this heavily disguised Volkswagen is the next-generation Golf/Rabbit, but upon further inspection, we have every reason to believe that it is the upcoming Scirocco. Unveiled as the Iroc Coupe concept last August, it seems that this hot hatchback has received a few changes as it approaches being showroom ready.

The front and rear ends on this mule have been completely covered, so it’s hard to really determine what the final look will be, but you can see the distinct headlight lines on the nose. It’s also quite clear that it has an aggressive, sporty stance, sitting considerably lower than the production Rabbit/Golf. They’ve said that “it has a low-slung look, almost like the last-gen Honda Civic Si hatchback [sold as the SiR in Canada], but even lower and wider.”
