Although it would be accurate to say that the G71 notebook PC from Haier Computer is very blue, it would not be accurate to say that it is one sad device. Quite the contrary! (Sorry for the ridiculously dumb pun.)

Featuring Intel’s hot new Santa Rosa platform, the Haier G71 is being sold as a desktop replacement, so this has got to speak to its computing capabilities, right? It features a large 17.1-inch widescreen (16:10) display with a native resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. You’re going to need all that screen real estate for your intense gaming sessions, because the G71 comes equipped with powerful NVidia GeForce Go 7950 graphics too.

If you’re tired of the same old black, silver, or white, then the Haier G71 all dressed up in ultra glossy, ultra bold blue might be the ticket. Let’s just hope that it runs better than the Black Pearl. No word on pricing or availability.
