I was very impressed with the V-Moda Vibe Modaphones when I reviewed them late last year, so I fully expected that this new offering would be just as good, if not better. Seems like my suspicions are accurate. The newly announced V-Moda Vibe Duo Headphones are the only third-party headset available on the Apple website, and better still, they have been designed specifically with the iPhone in mind.

Anyone who has fondled an iPhone in real life has noticed that the headset jack is mysteriously recessed into the body of the cell phone, making many of your regular 3.5mm ear buds pretty much useless. The V-Moda Vibe Duo, however, has a plug that goes right into that jack with no problem whatsoever. And because it’s also got an inline mic, you can answer phone calls without having to take Apple’s shiny wonder out of your pocket.

Naturally, the V-Moda Vibe Duo headset will also work with regular MP3 players as well, because it uses a fairly standard 3.5mm connection. Rich bass, noise isolation, and high quality await you. The asking price is a cool $99.
