Ancient Scroll Cell Phones for Hardcore Samurai

I’m all for innovation in the world of cell phones, but this ancient scroll concept is pretty far out there. Instead of taking on a candybar, slider, or flip phone form factor, this concept phone literally rolls out when you need a display, swallowing that flexible OLEDness back into its shaft when not in use.

While in its cylindrical form, the ancient scroll concept can still be used like a regular cell phone because the numerical keypad is wrapped around the outside. The pull-out screen is only used when you want to “watch a movie or receive a visual text.”

If you’ve got a little ninja turtle in you — particularly Michelangelo — then you might want to chain two of these together for some crazy nunchuk-fueled chatting action… or something.
