The XPS line from Dell has always been highly sought after by power users. Now, they will have another compact option in the form of the XPS m1330, a unit that now comes with an official price point. The Dell Canada ad depicted to the right shows of the four-pound laptop with a price of $1499. That’s in Canadian dollars.

For that price, you get a speedy Intel T7100 Core 2 Duo processor, Vista Home Premium, 2GB of RAM, 120GB HDD, and a dual-layer DVD burner. You also get to choose from Tuxedo Black, Pearl White, or — for the truly adventurous — Candy Red. Unfortunately, the 13.3-inch color display will not be LED backlit (unless you toss in some more money).

If you hop on over to the American Dell website, you’ll find a slightly different picture with prices starting at $1299. For that price, you get a slower process (T5250 Core 2 Duo) and less RAM (1GB).
