The Skinny on Pantech’s Slim TV IM-S230 Slider Phone

I need not remind you that thin is definitely in when it comes to just about every portable electronic device. The latest entry is the Pantech TV IM-S230, a slim sliding phone that measures a mere 9.9mm in thickness. That’s pretty darn slim and you’ll be hard pressed to find another slider phone that has quite as trim a profile (they’re out there, you just have to look).

What’s more, the Pantech TV IM-S230 comes with something that you won’t find on very many handsets around these parts. As you can probably guess from the model name, this phone has a built-in digital DMB TV tuner, letting you catch up on all those glorious television waves. The rest of the specs are pretty normal with a 2.2-inch color screen, MP3 player, and 1.3 megapixel camera.

It’s a shame that the Pantech TV IM-S230 slim slider phone will never make its way across the Pacific. At least not in its current incarnation.
