iPhone Users to Do YouTube

The iPhone news just keeps on comin’.

Now comes confirmation of an expansion of services, really. Steve Jobs said last month that Apple TV users would be able to incorporate YouTube into their viewing habits. That is still true, but it’s not the end of the story.

Now, Apple and YouTube have announced that iPhone users will be able to access video clips on the popular video-sharing website. Yet another exclusive for the iPhone.

YouTube, which has started to use a new coding format for its videos for better viewing on wireless viewers, will provide more than 10,000 videos for iPhone viewing when the phone makes its debut next week. That number will grow substantially in the weeks following release. Some initial issues might involve conversions between formatting
