Technology is getting smaller and nowhere is this as obvious as in the world of USB Flash Drives. Kingston moseyed on into Computex last week and showed everyone their latest creation, the DataTraveler Mini Migo Edition thumb drive, or DTM for short. These are tiny little suckers: if you check out the picture below, you’ll see that the actual memory part is about as big as the USB connector itself.

The cool thing is that there is no possibility of you losing a cap, because there isn’t one. Instead, there’s a simple sliding mechanism that keeps everything together. I’m not sure if I agree with the creepy figurehead on the casing, but I do agree with the tiny form factor. Look for the Kingston DataTraveler Mini Migo Edition USB 2.0 flash drives — which come preloaded with Migo software for Windows-based systems — to ship in 1GB, 2GB, and 4GB flavors. No word on price.
