Cross-branding is fast becoming a thing of the present, and to some it may be confusing. We’ve talked about Lamborghini laptops and Porsche cell phones. Now comes word that Levi Strauss will be issuing a cell phone of its own. (No word yet on whether it will be made of denim.)

You can get your hands on one of these starting in September, and you can start saving up your microSD cards now. The official launch is to be in Paris, a certainly un-Levi’s city if ever there was one.

Other than the novelty of the name, there’s not much to write home about here. You’ll get a 2-megapixel camera, a music player, and Bluetooth capability. The screen is rather small, at 1.8 inches.

Since that launch date is in September, we can’t tell you pricing yet.
