Is this job for you? A group of scientists is looking for volunteers to try out clothing that can monitor your health.

Special clothes containing “intelligent textiles” can keep track of your body fluids, like sweat and blood, and track how much you’re gaining and losing those fluids, as well as how your wounds are healing. (No word yet on what happens if you run the clothes through the wash.) The clothes have been designed by the Biotex programme, coordinated by the Swiss tech company CSEM.

Sensors in the clothing can one day warn of and track the spread of illnesses, scientists hope. For now, they’re looking for a few good men and women to volunteer blood, sweat, toil, and tears.
