Talk about old school. Sony is showing off a group of new eco-friendly products at the moment, among them the Spin N’ Snap digital camera. You can take digital shots with this model, of course, but it’s the powering up that’s the novelty. Just stick your fingers in the viewfinder holes, twirl the camera around a few times, and you have a fully charged machine ready to keep on shooting. A similar product is the Crank N’ Capture camera, which can also record video. Similarly powered up is the Push POWER Play, a viewer that you charge by rolling it back and forth on a tabletop. All of these devices are made of recycled plastic—or at least they will be when they arrive, which will be we don’t know when.
