More Computex news coming down the chute, this time from the team at Gigabyte. The company is showing off their new U60 UMPC, and while the 6.5-inch LED backlit display is impressive and all, one of the more interesting features is the tiny mouse touch pad housed in the corner. This allows you to use the UMPC much like how you’d use a regular laptop, that is, if you’re not in the mood for using a stylus.

Under the hood, you’ll find that the Gigabyte U60 is powered by a budget-minded 1.0GHz VIA C7-M processor, 768MB of DDR2-533 RAM, and a 1.8-inch 4200rpm PATA hard drive with 30GB of storage capacity. The whole unit tips the scales at 740 grams, including the weight of the provided two-cell battery. There’s also an integrated VGA webcam and slide-out QWERTY keyboard for good measure.
