It’s ironic, really, because when I come across a Star Trek geek, I think that he’s a total dweeb that should get out more often. By contrast, when I find totally geeked-out Star Wars videos like the one below, I can’t help but be enthralled with its absolute awesomeness. The best part is that you can actually buy the light sabers depicted in a wide range of styles and colors.

Take the path less traveled by and opt for the purple glow of Mace Windu, attempt to be a hero with the dark blue blade of Obi-Wan Kenobi, or do battle with yourself using the light blue saber of Anakin Skywalker. For the more adventurous there is the short but powerful green light saber of Jedi Master Yoda, but if you must turn to the dark side — as I know you want to — there is all-too-crazy red saber of Darth Vader.

Not only do they look like the “real” thing, they’ve also got “realistic lighting and sound effects”, including power-up, idle hum, clash, and power-down. Now I can’t decide if I want George Lucas to make another trilogy, even though the prequels were less than phenomenal.
