A friend of mine once told me that he created a version of Tetris for his Ti-83 graphing calculator from scratch. I thought he was a total geek for doing it, but at the same time, I was very impressed. I’m sure that it would have been a lot easier getting through those boring math classes if I could move uniquely shaped blocks around, attempting to form completed lines, instead of actually, you know, paying attention.
If you’re numbing your brain in trigonometry, why not take a break, whip out the old Texas Instruments graphing calculator and have a healthy blood-splattering romp in Doom? Or maybe a fascinating adventure in Zelda? Below are a couple of videos of those games in action, accompanied by the obligatory download links so that you can get in on the action yourself.
