Wii Strap Retracts

If you look closely at the photo, you’ll see that the Wii controller is attached to the wrist with a strap. That strap was the subject of a large number of concerns several weeks ago, but those difficulties appear to be overcome now. We should be able to assume that this strap Wii will keep the controller from flying across the room. So we will. We’ll assume that.

The strap is also a bit of an upgrade, in that it’s retractable. It’s also cheap, just US$6. For that kind of money, you can probably afford to buy two or three and keep a couple in reserve—for although the strap looks solid, the retractable part looks like it might be in danger of repeating the same problem. Or perhaps not.
