Keeping It Slim with Sanyo Xacti E7

There are two schools of thought when it comes to digital cameras. Some people want the absolutely most powerful features out there and will settle for nothing less than a digital SLR. Others are more interested in the portability of their cameras, so long as the snapshots turn out alright. We’re addressing the latter. The Sanyo Xacti E7 is the latest in a long line of ultra-slim digital cameras, much to the joy of soccer moms and casual vacation goers all around the world.

The 7.1 megapixel camera features a large color LCD on the back, no optical viewfinder, and what appears to be an auto-focusing 3x optical zoom lens. No word on pricing or availability, but you should probably expect the Sanyo Xacti E7 to be placed in the same range as the rest of its consumer-level brethren.
