Duracell More Powerful Than Ever?

Energizer and Motorola aren’t the only ones working on new powerful solutions for mobile devices. Duracell has teamed up with Xantrax to create a yet-unnamed line of portable power products, including inverters, power packs, and battery chargers. They cite our increasing need for mobile power as well as the worries that we get when there is an electrical outage. Portable energy is more important than ever, I guess.

They haven’t exactly said what will make this Duracell-branded line of products different from what’s already out there, so you’ve got to wonder if the press release issued was designed just to remind us of the copper-top company and how they’ve always been there when we needed a reliable battery source. In any case, these portable power products are scheduled for introduction in June 2007.
