It’s something of a treat to get a Sony Ericsson phone in the Western Hemisphere, and this new model is a big treat. The Z750 is the first HSDPA phone aimed at the U.S. market.

This fliphone flashes when you have an incoming call or SMS. Image aficionados will appreciate the VGA video camera but wonder why the megapixel count isn’t a little higher on the still-shot camera (just 2). The best element, though, is that HSDPA, which enables quick surfing and streaming in a whole new way.

The sleek yet functional design extends to the color as well. You can have refined black or subtle pink.
