All Nike Shoes to be iPod-compatible

Well, you can forget all of that exclusive stuff that we’ve told you in the past year about only these Nike shoes work with the iPod and only those shoes can track your heart rate and all of that. Throwing caution to the wind, Nike has decreed that every single one of its shoes will be iPod-compatible very soon. That’s running shoes, of course. No word yet on whether the latest NBA models will carry such functionality (although we rather doubt it).

That’s good news for runners who like to wear Nikes but don’t necessarily want to buy the handful of models that sport the special manufacturing at this point. Of course, it won’t happen all at once and your favorite shoe could be the last in line for an upgrade. But you get the idea.
