Amp’d Mobile may be the MVNO that is trying to market itself to all the hip kids, but some of those kids have business to do. For them, there is the MOTO Q, Amp’d Edition. So, what makes this smartphone so Amp’d? Well, instead of focusing on push email and time planners, the Amp’d version of Motorola’s slim smartphone is all about multimedia. Sure, it’s got that QWERTY keyboard — great for text messaging — but it’s also got access to “24 live TV channels, 55 video-on-demand channels, one million downloadable songs, stereo Bluetooth, 3D games, and access to all online social networks.” And that’s before we get into any Windows Mobile application.

Running on Windows Mobile 5.0, the Motorola Q boasts a QVGA display, “advanced” EVDO technology, rich multimedia content, and Adobe’s Flash Lite technology. The Amp’d MOTO Q is being targeted at youth, young professionals and early adopters, but they haven’t indicated a price point as of yet.
