My back isn’t quite what it used to be, and I think it has a lot to do me being hunched over a laptop for the majority of my day. I know that it’s not a good idea to rely on medicine to relieve that pain, because your body can develop a tolerance for it. Casting medication aside altogether is the LifeMax TENS Machine, a handheld device designed to relieve pain and tone the body.

The “TENS” in its name stands for Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation, and while they don’t exactly go in depth as to how this is supposed to work, my gut reaction is that its mechanism is similar to that of acupuncture, stimulating choice nerves at just the right places. Is this all a load of BS or is it the real deal? I guess we’ll have to wait for some reviews to find out.
